That's the case i have.

The local tech is telling me he can't install my cards in SLI with an A8nSLI32 Deluxe because he says I'd be hitting the radiator os ome trash like that and I have to switch to a non dual x16 A8n SLI premium

I'm not sure if I want the a8n sli premium since I feel that I will lose the ability of maximizing my video card's potential...
Is there a huge difference or is this guy just straight lying"?

I'm not sure if the cards will be too long or large for the radiator (where the fsck is he putting the radiator to make this a problem??) but the fact that it is dual x16 rather than dual x8 doesn't matter.

if you look at my case everything is fitting as f***. It's all preplaced and stuff.

Mod your own box and you can do whatever you like, including trash it. Pay for the service and you accept their limitations, or take your business elsewhere.

I can. So can everyone else who's actually tried to cram a bunch of high-end parts into a machine along with a custom cooling system or some other unconventional gear. Motherboards, cases, and cooling devices are all slightly different, things don't always fit. I'd guess that the radiator might be relocatable with a lot of manual labor dremeling and refitting, but you're dealing with a business. They're going to customize the box for you within the limits of their convenience and profit margins, not the limits of your imagination.

Ummmm how does that make sence? He says you can do it in SLI with an A8N and not a A8N32? That just doesn't sound right. Are the demensions that different?
 
Wow, and I thought buying a video card for $460 was dumb. $520 for a case? Haha. Wow. That's more that half of what I paid in total for my entire upgraded Dell system (with 2GB of ram and a GTX).

Hey, but I guess if you can afford it, and it makes you happy, then ok. But damn.
 
First of all, if you say that he is a noob then build it yourself.
Second, the card should fit because the case is designed for 2 SLI cards.
Last but not the least, you got owned with that case (pricewise). 😀

Well, you're being sucha noob about it by thinking that the difference between dual x8 and x16 will matter at all.
 
my big beef is that it's ugly

the guy said that the last pci slot gets blocked off due to the piping and resevoir since hte deluxe 32 and the non 32 have different sli fittings

if you notice that on the 32 the sli card fitting is at the end.

Actually it's not that bad when you consider BYO water cooling. The assemby time alone is worth $100 then about $200-$300 in watercool gear.. Plus that case empty is $250 easily adding up to over $550.
