I bought a wedding dress!!! :)

Vera Wang, hot label. My gf has some of her dinnerware.
Did you pay under a grand for it?

I'm in love with her designs, they're so dreamy/romantic/gorgeous :)

And yes, I did! :D

I really really hope you paid much much less than $4k for the dress... unless of course you're richer than rich, then feel free to spend away... or buy budget and send me some $$$ :)

I was recently at a wedding at the bride wore the exact same dress. She paid full-price, but she could easily afford it. She looked lovely.

I'm pinching pennies like crazy, trying to keep our total wedding expenses under $5k (avg. cost for a US wedding is $22k). I paid less than 20% of retail value for the dress. :D

Under $5k I wish. Sh!t, the woman's dress alone (plus alterations and tax) put us over that.

Believe it or not a beautiful wedding on a budget is entirely possible, we're doing quite well so far. :)

If you can afford it, by all means... :) I wish I had an unlimited budget, but that simply isn't the case... and neither of us want to put such a financial burden on either of our families, so we'll be paying for it entirely on our own. I've been saving... and however much you're spending minendo, you know it will be worth every penny

based on teh amount of bitching he did about the cost of teh dress, im guessing he cant just "afford it"

looks like a niec dress

you say average is 22K, i beleive my sisters was around 16K so i guess they did alright, dad footed all that anyway
