Okay, so everything's going fine. I get home from my paper route, and go in my room, boot up the computer.

...Nothing on the monitor. Just the power light blinking like it does when the computer is off...

So I'm like... wtheck is up with this. I reset the computer many times, try the monitor on a different computer, reset the power bar, psu, everything. I tried the video card and hard drive in another computer, and both are working fine.

What could be wrong? What could've killed my computer overnight?

CMOS battery might have died, or perhaps the BIOS somehow had settings changed. I'm just confused how you have a power light when powered down, but it's also a clue: the power connector for the case may have came off the mobo pins...check to make sure it's properly seated and try again. That would be an easy fix if this is the situation.

Also, flick the PSU to the off position for a minute, turn it back on and try powering up again...you'll probably see something at this point, so go directly to the BIOS and verify settings are correct.

i'm not sure what is happening here:

1.) did the monitor work when you used it on another computer ?
2.) is the power light on the computer coming on ?

if one is OK, then your problem is probably the other

if BOTH are working but there is just no picture on the monitor then it's prob something silly like a loose cable, or maybe your BIOS settings got jacked up. Maybe try resetting your BIOS....the mobo manual will tell you how

let us know what happens.

** EDIT for clarification **
