Look up "Vasodepressor Syncope" in any popular search engine.
Sometimes when you sit wrong or when you use the restroom, you can trigger the vasodepressor response which makes you black out for a few seconds. Just long enough to whack your head or chip your teeth on something. Be careful! A doctor will want to hook you up to a portable heart monitor which has a recording loop that you stop after one of these episodes. Good luck.

yup, passed out one early christmas morning after church services (6am sunrise service). walking towards the Laz-E-Boy recliner chair, and the next second i wake up on the floor, two inches from the coffee table. if my head would have hit that table, it would have been over for me.

the thought of taking my own life has entered my head once or twice, although I don't think I would ever seriously attempt it. Maybe reading about someone who had actually done this and the full realisation of their actions and what it actually meant triggered it?
I am think that the fact that you have felt this way is what made you pass out. i have this fear of severe injuries. When i see a severe injusry on tv, hear baout it, witness it, i get extrmely light headed and almost faint. I remember a science class in 7 grade...i am now 25, my teacher made us watch a video of car accident and it was nasty. tons of screaming etc. i told him i cant watch it and he made me. next thing you know i vomited everywhere and found my self sittin in the hall and have no recollection of how i got there. it sounds to me that yer depression is the culprit. i really wish you well and hope you pull through this. remember suicide is not an option for you when you are depressed. I was depressed last year and had been for years, and saw no end to it. then i met a new person (my wife now}. And i am way better now. just hang in there and try to have a little fun in life. dont stress all the little things in life.

Yea man, it could be something serious you don't know about.

First step in curing this terrible problem is to stop staring at the PC 23 out of 24 hours. ;)

Perhaps your case could be similar, or perhaps some nutritional issue?

FYI: it's "fainted". The word "feinted" has an entirely different meaning, having to do with combat tactics.

Something similar to that happened to me. After getting up quickly from watching TV to go look out the window for some reason, i started shaking and my head hit the window like 5 or 6 times till I "came to".
