I am think that the fact that you have felt this way is what made you pass out. i have this fear of severe injuries. When i see a severe injusry on tv, hear baout it, witness it, i get extrmely light headed and almost faint. I remember a science class in 7 grade...i am now 25, my teacher made us watch a video of car accident and it was nasty. tons of screaming etc. i told him i cant watch it and he made me. next thing you know i vomited everywhere and found my self sittin in the hall and have no recollection of how i got there. it sounds to me that yer depression is the culprit. i really wish you well and hope you pull through this. remember suicide is not an option for you when you are depressed. I was depressed last year and had been for years, and saw no end to it. then i met a new person (my wife now}. And i am way better now. just hang in there and try to have a little fun in life. dont stress all the little things in life.the thought of taking my own life has entered my head once or twice, although I don't think I would ever seriously attempt it. Maybe reading about someone who had actually done this and the full realisation of their actions and what it actually meant triggered it?

One time about three or four years ago I'd gotten up to pee, and went into the bathroom to do my thing.. the next thing I knew, I was waking up after having fallen backwards into the bathtub, taking the shower curtain with me.. weird, had no memory of what happened, and I attribute it to temporary lack of oxygen to the brain, given that I'd just gotten up from watching tv or something. Perhaps your case could be similar, or perhaps some nutritional issue?
FYI: it's "fainted". The word "feinted" has an entirely different meaning, having to do with combat tactics.
