I just wanted to say goodbye to all of you that I've come to know a bit since joining here about a year ago. I've decided its time for me to say goodbye to these forums. Juggling my new 50+ hour a week work schedule, time with my daughter, a new girlfriend, and an aspiring music career just doesn't leave me much free time to waste posting on these forums, and even if I were so inclined, I absolutely loathe this new forum software and all the stupid new 'features' it brought. WHY FIX SOMETHING THAT ISNT BROKEN? anyways...

i'm just saying it's not that difficult and time consuming to type forums.anandtech.com if you are bored at some point during the day, and the fact that people need to "leave" a forum just seems pathetic to me. i guess i'm just really angry today. ignore everything i say.

Yes, but I think he was saying that he will not have enough time to do even that ("Juggling my new 50+ hour a week work schedule, time with my daughter, a new girlfriend, and an aspiring music career just doesn't leave me much free time to waste posting on these forums"). He probably ended up spending 2 hours on a planned 10 mins visit

I agree w/ you Kev. It really does seem kind of lame when ppl have to annouce that they are leaving. You know in the future at some point they will visit the forums for a few minutes. It's not like he's an old friend who you won't be seeing anymore.
