theBestMax, as it happens you just challenged the proud ex-owner of a 48 DeSoto. It wieighed in at around 4000Lb. I could stick my feet out straight in the back seat and not hit the front seat. Many a policeman's torch illuminated that back seat, much to the chigrin of me and my girlfriend. It had fluid drive or something, but I don't know if time had even ben invented when it was made. I'm guessing it was bigger that a 58

heh(it's pepsi one), we ran out of MD &amp; regular Pepsi, my mom drinks that...I like it a lot better than Coke &amp; Diet Pepsi though, so no biggie...
