Yeah, and you get free gas. It's a win-win situation.

I saw $3.62 on Maui last week. I got a tankful at the rental company for a relative bargain at $3.47. I still get infinite miles per gallon of gas back home... riding a bike. :D

I drive just over 100 miles/day commuting to work. I usually get somewhere between 27-29 mpg. Since I usually have to fill up after 3 days of commutes, that extra 50-cents/gallon is killing me. I am paying about $10 more each fill-up. :(

I need to get over to the east end more often :

Those Sams Club prices rawk. Sheetz down on 74 at I-83 is $2.99, I normally stop there. Sheetz further down 74 in Dallastown is $2.89, or, it was yesterday. I want my $2.65 back :(

Last week, a new gas station opened up in my town, and set their price to $1.89 a gallon to attract customers (and they did, obviously). The gas station across the street didn't want to lose business, so they stupidly lowered their price to $1.84. They didn't lose business, but they lost a ton of profit. But currently, gas is around $2.80-$2.90 here.

I also remember hearing that same day of a gas station in north carolina selling gas for $1.22 though.

 do you drive a lawnmower?

RTFA.

He has options on gasoline

Actually, the article was just something I remembered reading...I should probably edit my post.

I ride a motorcycle. It's been a wonderful commuter so far, and astonishingly enough, I don't seem to encounter nearly as many bad/clueless drivers as I thought I would. Not many at all, really.

Must be my loud pipes:p

Note to self: $60 per month is a lot of money to JohnCU.

I can beat that easy. There are 2 stations on Gary that have 'price wars' usually a few times a year. They had gas for $0.88 (88 cents) a gallon for a few days last winter, I haven't been over there this year yet though.

I think it was 3.50ish in LA when I was there for a week. Here in Colorado springs it's $2.999

First time I saw that Price I thought ".999? Oh for the love of... Just make it $3 and be done with it!"

LA is not that bad right now. It's comparable to Nor Cal @ $3.20 or so for regular or even lower. I got $3.11 on Sunday or Sat.

Oh and CA prices aren't that extreme anymore. If yo ugo look at any gas price chart comparing the Bay Area average against hte nation average, it's not that far apart anymore. It used to be back in the day, but ever since Katrina, the delta is very low.....
