I believe that everything is relative.

I believe that everything is relative. I also believe everything is a matter of opinion. Are they the same thing? Its a matter of opinion to someone if Coke is better than Pepsi, if the MX1000 is better than the MX518, if Linux is better than Windows, etc. etc. I think that is how it is for literally everything, even emotions. Happiness to someone isn't necessarily happiness to someone else.

Now, knowing this, why do people argue and fight the way they do? Is it just one of those things where people say it's "human nature"?

Congradulations - you have completed the amount of logic done on the first day of any introductory philosophy class.

Why do we fight? Because people just can't seem to accept the fact that other don't see things their way. I tend to not care what people think, I live in a bubble and until your beliefs cross into my space and endanger me, more power to you.

people will still argue because some of them are convinced that their opinion is actually fact, and are stubborn that way.

some just like to argue though... while others... are just... meh

I disagree. My opinion is that nothing is relative, and my opinion is just as valid as yours.
If nothing is relative, then everything is absolute. Given that everything is absolute, two differing opinions cannot be equally valid.
