Yep, after 12 years of living in good ole' USA I decided it was time and as of today I am a naturalized US citizen. The ceremony was very nice and there were 87 people from 29 different countries. Quite moving I must say.

Just wanted to share a moment with my fellow AT'ers.

now that your a citizen you can dread teh fact that there are just something about US politics that you are so going to hate.

<--- getting too influenced by this Poli Sci teacher.. okay she is hot but she is also telling the truth when she says we got an archachic system of voting.. why have primaries when by the 13th state you know who are going to be running .... ugh!

Why cant they have it all at one time.. this is not the horse drawn buggy 18th century.. this is teh 21st century. The other thing that bugs me is the closed electoral system where you can only vote for who you registered for.. if you want to change your mind you got to do it 30 days before your electoral date. Only 3 states are open electoral system.. california was one but got federally mandated to go back to closed system :|
