How are you going to eat your cake if you dont have it? You can definitely have your cake and eat it too, you just cant eat it and have it afterwards.

I Dual Boot between XP and RH 7.2 because I am a Linux n00b. I am no expert and get lost a lot of times. And plus i have no clue on how to install games Under Linux...

I am happy with a dual boot

You just answered your own question... Of course you can have your cake, and of course you can eat it... But you can't eat it, and still have it... ;)

I dual boot between winxp and rh7.2 mostly to program in c++ 'cause I like the kdevelop IDE. Though, since I can get it cheap and have heard good things about it I might try Visual Studio .NET

Not the first time with linux, but it was a long while ago.

Mandrake 8.2 makes linux easier to manage, for a newbie like myself. Installed it on a spare P100 machine with 64mb edo ram. The hd is slow, but other than that I'm pretty happy with it. Still trying to find my way around that OS.

Trying to install Mandrake on the faster destkop using VMWare, but it hasn't been successful yet. I can install fine, but when it comes time to reboot and load linux it craps out.
