with or without the vodka?;)

Acetaminophen and Alcohol mixed together rape the liver.

OP: Your problem is that you are in NoVa, in Winter. Go north to crisp winter days or south to the warm sunny beaches but get out of NoVa before aspergillosis gets you.

I, and a fair percentage of others who would rather not be sick or suffer the symptoms of any real or imaginary ailment, firmly believe and have proven by experience that the basic flu/cold/bug condition can be minimized with grossly elevated body temperatures.

Regardless the temperature of your environment, bundling up with sleeping bags and blankets to the point of heavy sweating, for at least one full sleep cycle, has proven to my crowd to cook the basic bug right out of oneself.

The wannabe pseudo-litigious contingent here might suggest that ones general health outta be pretty damn good before "cooking" the bones to such a degree. The pussifactorial group would either die in 4 hours, or feel great after 24.

ESAD, or cook the meat and move on.

There is truth to that and that's what folks did before medicine/science. I'll take the safer alternative and use medicine.

What I'm saying is your right, but I'd prefer less risk. The body's immune system is pretty fucking powerful both in it's ability to kill the baddies and also harm the body if it goes to far as it wages it's war.

The truth is often that "medicine" is not "safer" than biological reality. Yours and others version of "less risk" has frequently and recently become contingent upon chemical warfare. An otherwise moderately healthy body between the ages of 15 and maybe 50, can be induced to reject many mild discomfitures through basic procedures that do not include chemicals, and time.

Careful, my first love was a Christian Scientist so I know where you're coming from. I gave you a bone, don't chew on it so much.

I don't think you are supposed to drink the vodka, I think you are supposed to gargle with it [for a very sore throat], don't swallow. My friend (who was born in Romania) was always told this by her mom.

You did not, and have not. Clichéd forum auto-stroking is not the equivalent of rational conversation. You know no more than the substantial limits of your intellect. Stroke yourself, and then wilt.

Yep, you're a Christian Scientist. I'd know that line of reasoning anywhere, I only nailed one daily for 3 years in my late teens and know all about it.

Rational conversation would be around the credence of letting the body do it's work vs. medicine which in even the most scientific circles has merit. Oh well, guess that's why I've always been so interested in the body and the mind.

I am an atheist, and have never had any religion, for more years than you have lived. You continue to stroke your keyboard just as it appears you yank yourself. Your pattern posting precludes any further pertinent posturing. Find your rationale, now, that lets you exit with an imagined measure of cool.

I tried to relay my point via PM before posting. You don't accept them. If you want rational discussion make your point for all to see or allow private messaging.

Nice alliteration BTW.

Tons of tylenol and tons of vodka sounds like a plan to me!
