?

The usual robitusin + chicken soup + cough drops + a lot of water has just made me more groggy and dizzy:(

I have regoogled it many times and everything seems to point to either honey, which I don't have, or spirits. I do have vodka.

I do actually have some decent wine but I am NOT wasting it on this cold.

Your best bet is just to knock yourself out with the vodka and get some sleep, a LOT of sleep if possible

Your symptoms indicate a strong fever. Treat that with Tylenol/acetaminophen or you are going to be really knocked out.

If you don't start doing something about that fever it will only get worse and will put a hurtin' on you. Treat it with the proper medicine, vodka is not proper medicine for a fever. Or better yet, take your damn temperature, take care of yourself and start acting like an adult.

A little harsh but I agree.

I, and a fair percentage of others who would rather not be sick or suffer the symptoms of any real or imaginary ailment, firmly believe and have proven by experience that the basic flu/cold/bug condition can be minimized with grossly elevated body temperatures.

Regardless the temperature of your environment, bundling up with sleeping bags and blankets to the point of heavy sweating, for at least one full sleep cycle, has proven to my crowd to cook the basic bug right out of oneself.

The wannabe pseudo-litigious contingent here might suggest that ones general health outta be pretty damn good before "cooking" the bones to such a degree. The pussifactorial group would either die in 4 hours, or feel great after 24.

ESAD, or cook the meat and move on.

There is truth to that and that's what folks did before medicine/science. I'll take the safer alternative and use medicine.

What I'm saying is your right, but I'd prefer less risk. The body's immune system is pretty fucking powerful both in it's ability to kill the baddies and also harm the body if it goes to far as it wages it's war.

Yep, the guilt of being a corporate whistle blower. If gave us the details, he'd feel better getting it off his chest and be able to sleep peacefully.
