Real Name: Jake Olsen
Occupation: EMS Technician
Identity: Secret
Legal Status: None
Place of Birth: Asgard
Group Affiliation: Active member of Avengers
Base of Operations: New York City, New York
First Appearance: JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY #83

History: Descended from Norse gods, Thor nearly started a war by violating a truce with his family's ancient enemy --the Frost Giants. Odin, his father, banished the young god of thunder to Earth without his memory, to teach Thor how to behave as a mere mortal. After a decade as an earthly doctor, Donald Blake was drawn to Norway, and a subsequent encounter with a race of warmongering aliens. While hiding out in a cave, Blake found a mysterious wooden cane that turned out to be the enchanted hammer Mjolnir -- which transformed him back into the mighty Thor. He drove off the alien invaders and took his place with the Avengers. Shaking off the Blake persona, Thor was soon forced to assume the human identity of EMS technician Jake Olsen. Thor is forever torn between his divine home -- the hallowed halls of Asgard -- and the troubled lands of his adopted home, Earth.

Height: 6 ft. 6 in.
Weight: 640 lbs.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blonde

Stregnth Level:

Known Superhuman Powers: Thor's principal weapon is the enchanted hammer Mjolnir, one of the most formidable weapons known to man or god. Among the hammer's various enchantments are its indestructibility and the ability to summon all the elements of storm (wind, rain, thunder, and lightning). His hammer can be thrown both as a means of flight, and as a weapon that always returns to its wielder's hand. Thor's superhuman strength is matched with an immunity to all human diseases, superhuman speed, agility, and simulated flight when he hurls his enchanted hammer Mjolnir.

Thor god of thunder!

The most famous comic representation of Thor is the one developed by Jack Kirby & Stan Lee for Marvel comics in the early 60's. Lee has said that after the creation of the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man and others he felt that all that was left to do was `Super-God' so they did Thor.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Height: 6'6
Weight: 640 lbs.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blonde
POWERS AND ABILITIES
Strength: Thor possesses Class 100 strength, enabling
him to lift (press) over 100 tons. Thor's strength is
doubled when he wears his enchanted belt of strength. Known
superhuman powers: Thor possesses the superhuman physical
attributes of an Asgardian, but as the son of Odin, lord of
the Asgardians, and Jord, elder goddess of the Earth, his
strength, endurance, and resistance to injury are greater
than those of the vast majority of his race. Like all
Asgardians, Thor is extremely long-lived (although not
immortal like the Olympians) superhumanly strong (the
average Asgardian male can lift about 30 tons over his head;
Thor can lift over 100 tons above his own), is immune to all
Earthly diseases, and is resistant to conventional injury.
(Asgardian flesh and bone is about three times as dense as
similar human tissue, contributing to the Asgardians'
superhuman strength and weight.) Thor's Asgardian metabolism
gives him far greater than human endurance at all physical
activities.

Weapons: Thor's principal weapon is the enchanted hammer
named Mjolnir, one of the most formidable weapons known to
man or god. Forged out of the mystical metal uru, whose
chief properties are durability and ability to maintain
enchantment, the hammer is two feet long and its handle is
wrapped in leather which terminates in a thong. Besides
being a nearly indestructible throwing weapon, the hammer
has been given six enchantments by Odin to augment its
physical qualities.

Enchantment #1: No living being can lift the hammer from the
ground unless he or she is worthy.

Enchantment #2: The hammer will return to the exact spot
from which it is thrown after striking its target.

Enchantment #3: The hammer enables the wielder to summon the
elements of storm (wind, rain, thunder, lightning, etc.)

Enchantment #4: The hammer can open interdimensional
portals, allowing its wielder to travel to other dimensions,
such as from Earth to Asgard.

Enchantment #5: Bestowed on the hammer by Odin in recent
times, it enabled Thor to transform into the mortal Don
Blake by stamping the hammer once upon the ground and
willing the change to occur. Since Thor has not had the
alterego of Don Blake for quite some time now it is unknown
if this power is still in effect or if it has been modified.

Enchantment #6: By throwing the hammer and grasping its
leather thong, Thor can magically propel himself through the
air in the semblance of flight. Just as the hammer can
magically change its course in order to return to his hand
when he throws it, so can it be influenced by its wielder to
change its course while it is in his grasp in flight.

Ok let's see. Aquaman posts about Thor. So next I guess we need to have Captain America post about Flash. And then have the Martian Manhunter post about Wasp. Follwed by Superman posting about Vision. And lastly of course Green Arrow has to post about Hawkeye (not the M.A.S.H. character).

Ok people, get to making aliases and posting nonsensical things.
