Ramen is terrible. I ran out of food at my place once and all I had left was ramen and I was too lazy to go to the store so I just had ramen for a few days. No harm in that, right?

Toward the end of my ramen-only experience I went and played ultimate frisbee for a couple of hours. It was hot and I was playing hard and as a consequence I was sweating a lot. By the time I was done I had a layer of salt visibly crusted all over my face and shirt and arms and... Well it was disgusting.

I have sworn off ramen to this day.

Hell, sometimes I just eat that brick of noodles like a ricecake and wash it down with the flavoring packet + water. ::shudder::

.20 cents ?

you're eating those ichiban, nissen garbage noodles..

upgrade to the .45cents - .50 cent korean noodles those kick major ass.

For noodles I don't know why anyone would buy japanese, it's noodles it's not like it's high quality food.

You sissy
those are girlie noodles.
You couldn't handle Shin La Myun.... I had my spanish friend have some, he had to drink a gallon of water just to finish 2 servings of noodles.
He loved the taste tho.

Not a big fan of Shin La Myun either.

If not eating spicy food that makes me throw up because of an ulcer makes me a sissy, then i guess i'm a sissy. I don't derive pleasure from needless pain.

If you like spicey noodles, those are the only way to go.

Bbal Gae Myun is really good too. it's bright red giving off it's spiceyness

i dont think it's spicey enough to give someone an ulcer, or I would have had one by now. It's just hot at first but you get used to it real quick.

Well, Japanese style noodles are called Udon

noob get it right

udon = thicker noodles with some sort of broth

ramen (yes it exists in japan) = thinner noodle, but japanese ones are not spicy like korean ones. If you go to japan, you can buy ramen with handmade noodles, pretty good
