I AM THE RAMEN KING!

I am the ramen king. No one can make better ramen than me.

Just the right amount of kimchi, chopped fresh scallions, and a drop of egg.. what a wonderful creation...

(just came downstairs from kitchen.. waiting for the water to boil.. and I'll work my magik!)

Can I be the Ramen jester, then?

P.S.: CHALLENGE! - not for the title of ramen king, but proof of your royal status of ramenia, the holy ramen land where . . . uh, I'm digressing. 😱

Anyhoo, the challenge is: make a ramen dish that is even half presentable with AMERICAN RAMEN, the lowliest of ramen noodles!

YES! Those little horrendous packets of hell!

I can eat the plastic packaged brick ramen about once every 6 months.

Blech.

For some reason, I like Cup O Noodles though.

it's pronouced La Myun in korean

I wouldn't exactly say 'la', more of a mix between the 'r' and 'l' sound . . . the tables are turned against the engrish-haters! 😀😀😀

um.. no it mostly favors the L pronunciation in korean.

i don't know anyone that's korean that puts a lil R to the word La Myun.

nothing beats the thick udon style nooldes of nuh goo ri.. i try various new ones and old ones like shinrayun, samsang ramyun, and all the new fancy ones.. but i always go back to nuh goo ri

that's the king of all ramen and I'm the ramen king.

But it's not a straight-up 'l' sound, more a mix between a two, regardless of whether it's even or not - let them suffer in their misappropriate pronounciation!
