Apple need to create an iPod variant with a dam remote with an LCD! I may not be able to pick everything or do everything from the remote, but it would be very nice to be able to switch tracks or select mode of play I want without having to go to the actual unit itself!

Bah, you shoulda went with the 8GB Black Nano. Paying $200 for 4GB seems kinda pointless.

As for looks, meh. So it isn't as shiny, big deal. It won't scratch and show defects as easy as the 1G models, either.
