I don't know how to kick everyone off my node, that would be nice 🙂 Where do I send the check?

And like it would last. You ( or your counterpart ) would be calling me to find out why my systems are the only ones on the node. Is that a ToS violation? 😀

I still think your ownage factor is awesome!
 
I have a friend having what sounds like a similar problem with Comcast. Will this method help him? Of course, I don't know what registration page to go to...

Haha - no, the great thing is that it's not against the ToS or AUP. 😀 We can't tell, if this is done. All we'll get is everyone else on your node calling in askin whey they just lost a connection - if they were even paying attention to their computer. It's 100% harmless and is easily and quickly fixable, if you know what you're doing.

Well, power cycling any cable modem, despite the service, for three minutes will work wonders. And, yes, from my experience on Comcast, that might help. Their network runs differently, so there are several other things to do that are completely different. Call them and find out.
