I am switching from 2-ply TP to 1-ply

her209

No Lifer
Currently I use about one roll each week (2-ply). By making this change this is what will be reduced:

Per Week:
1.5 roll of 1-ply

Per Month:
approximately 6 rolls of 1-ply

Per Year:
78 rolls of 1-ply

Personally I think 1-ply works just as good as 2-ply (if not better) and there is a decent savings benefit. Not bad I think.

I think its healthier too. But I tried no-ply once and that didnt go so well as I had thought.....

I buy Scott's toilet paper,
1,000 sheets on a roll, lasts longer,

cost less per sheet,than Charmin.

🙂

Scott's

The paper also doesn't crumble from the wipe.

I used to use Scott's, but end up using more than twice as many sheets as with Cottonelle. Women also love cottonelle. 😉

Charmin? -You may as well use dryer lint! 😛

Cottonelle is what I used.

You defeat the purpose of buying 1 ply because you will end up using the same amount of 1 ply as you do 2ply therfore being pointless and a pain in the ass!

yea ist good stuff, not harsh on your ass and it lasts for a while

My preference is Charmin Ultra, but my gf wastes tp so bad I can't afford it. I'm currently using Cottonelle, but will probably have to switch to something cheaper than that unless I break up with her. It's costing me a fortune!!!

Is there that much of a difference? I just use the costco toilet paper and it works fine.. I
m not sure what ply it is but i know you getl ike 90 million rolls per pack

The thing with TP is that people don't use both sides a lot of the time and therefore 2-ply is a waste. 1-ply makes more efficient use of each ply.
