I am switching from 2% milk to 1%

Holy crap, do you guys not read?

I'm switching because I think 1% tastes better. Why the fsck would I care about 336 calories a week? That's running for 15 minutes a week.

I posted the health benefits just as an fyi.

i think the only really smart person here is specop 007. Everything he has said I was gonna post myself...

the OP is a tool for thinking he's doing himself a favor

The majority of the body of your post talked about calories. It wasn't just a sidenote. That's why people focused on the calories. On the contrary, it was the mention of taste listed at the end, as if a sidenote.

are you that retarded? i think so.

look how much you focused on calories douchebag

i just bought whole milk instead of 2% since the wife is out of town and theres no one here to stop me. mwahahaha.

i forgot how good it was compared to all the others.

I don't understand why people say that switching from whole to 2%, 1%, fat free doesn't matter. With everything else being equal, you get less calories and fat. Whats wrong with that? What are the health benefits of drinking higher fat content milk? Why do people work out in the first place? Mostly to burn calories. If you'r total intake is less, and you work out the same, how is not good for you? 300 calories per week is 30 more minutes on the threadmill.

Skim milk for me, as (1) I drink an insane amount of milk per week, and (2) other milk tastes too "heavy" to me now.

Per Week:
Calories - 336
Fat (g) - 36.8
cholesterol (mg) - 144

Per Month:
Calories - 1,456
Fat (g) - 159.5
cholesterol (mg) - 624

Per Year:
Calories - 17,472
Fat (g) - 1913.6
cholesterol (mg) - 7488

Personally I think 1% tastes just as good as 2% (if not better) and there is a decent health benefit. Not bad I think 🙂

Just drink water if you are that worried. Think of how many calories you could avoid.

My wife and I compromise. When i go to the grocer, I buy 2%, when she goes, she gets 1%. It works out ok 🙂

I drink skim because I hate thick milk, but if I was concerned about the calories I would definitely be drinking whole. I need all the calories I can get. (I figure I burn between 3500-4000 calories a day) 😉
