Been a long time since I played a game like this.

I am stuck in "Route Kanal".

There is a big tube beneath a metal grate. The tube is too high to get into. How do I get into the tube.

Also, is HL 2 slow? I think I loaded the entire game on my hard drive but it is slow to boot up. I have a P4 3.4 Ghz with 1 Ghz DDR and Raid 0. Is it slow?

You need to reach the pipe with a red release valve (wheel) on it. This is accomplished from dropping down from other pipes onto the pipe it's nearby.
