So I went back and told the "customer" that his check wasn't going to work. He gave me a stupid look and asked why. My exact words were, "This is a closed account. The boss says to pay cash or take your business elsewhere." He was trying to act all shocked, but I could tell it was just an act.

I still wish I could have witnessed that little weasel get hauled off in handcuffs.
