I was watching TV during work today and I saw the trailer for this

I am so sick and tired of being bludgeoned to death with "9/11 this, 9/11 that". Now these scumfscks are making yet another movie about it in order to milk a few extra dollars out of the whole event.

The whole premise of this movie is ridiculous to begin with. "The healing of a shattered nation began with the swing of a bat." WHAT?! I was never hurt by the 9/11 attacks, don't try and talk for me. In fact, I rooted against the Yankees for the same happy horseshit they are pulling with this movie now

I'm not trying to downplay the significance of 9/11, but god damn! Will you let the dead rest peacefully instead of dragging their name on through time just to make a buck?

Thoughts, anyone?
 
I pretty much agree with you. Its almost as bad as Bush milking their deaths for political gain. Those ads of his were bah-ad. Over the line IMO.

But are you really surprised either? They make a made for TV movie about every god damn semi tragic thing that ever happened. I mean, some one must be watching this crap.

I fell off a ladder when I was a kid. I haven't trusted them since.
 
what's wrong with them trying to cash in on it, las vegas have burned many people's money for nothing. so, why can't they do the same? Does $ make you happy? well, then get real man. You need them just as much as they do, end of discussion.

I agree to an extent. Yes it was a tragic event, but stop bringing this crap up over and over again. I would die a happy man if I didn't have to hear the name Tod Beamer again.

That being said, be prepared in the next couple of weeks for people to start coming out of the woodworks on TV proclaiming where they were when it happened.
 
Well it's been 3 years and if you load up CNN or cpsan you'd think that we're under constant attack, losing thousands of people/day from terrorism. Course I'm sick of it MUCH less than fvcking more crap about Kerry's medals. Both democrats and republicans need to shut the f**k up with that stuff from the vietnam war, stop acting like bitchy little babies, and move on to more important issues. Both sides should be bitch slapped.

Well I'm a huge Mets fan and was so happy to see the first game played after 9/11 (Mets vs Braves), which had a great homerun by Mike Piazza to give the Mets the lead (and they did beat the Braves). It was pretty emotional at that time and the opening ceromonies was quite stirring.

Yea.. I'm tired of people cashing in on 9/11 and I didn't care about the whole Yankees thing, but the first baseball game played at Shea was a great thing to see (at least to me).

thats exactly it. I am getting tired of hearing about the "survivors" sueing for MORE money. Or all of these fricken stupid movies. etc.
