I have discovered that I secretly LOVE filling out tax forms.

Seriously.

I actually look forward to doing my taxes.

I sooooo picked the wrong career.

you can get a part time seasonal job doing taxes, you can do it in the evenings or weekends and get paid for it

except it is all done on computers, not paper forms

so if it is the actual paper forms you desire, you'll have to just do that in the privacy of your bedroom

my wife was the same way so she started to work at H&R Block during the tax season in the evenings and on weekends.

you'd be amazed how many of their employees don't know what they're doing.

I have actually started to consider that. I do my own taxes (I have a *very* small business), so I am familiar with the basic forms, but I have never worked with doing taxes on property or large investments (always have rented), so my experience is limited. It is just that I really seem to enjoy doing it. It is like shoveling snow. I enjoy it and have no clue why.

I had them do it a couple years, and no, I wouldn't :p

Actually, I would not be amazed at all. i started using Tax Cut specifically because of an asshat at jackson hewitt. i realized if the stupid lady that was asking me questions could maneuver through the software, I could do it faster, more efficiently and more cheaply than she could.

I also get a strangely enjoyable feeling from filling out paperwork. What I don't like is actually paying the damned taxes :p.

OK, you can do my taxes and shovel my snow...I don't care for either whatsoever

I used to time myself to see how fast I could do my taxes. My record was something like four minutes and thirty-three seconds, but that was before I had deductions, dividends, and such to worry about.
