I usually let people borrow homework, notes, as long as I know theyre not total dicks. If they never say thanks or dont give it back when I tell them too, then you have to let em know whats up... theyre either jerks or just insanely stupid, either way its ok to cuss them out. Release your anger, it feels good.
Now if some chick is using you for your notes, either try to use her ::winkwink::, or tell her to fsck off and find a new sucker to leech onto. Or both.

Basically, grow some balls, and realize that everyone is out to screw you.

Here are some easy excuses to tell her the next time she asks you for notes (without seeming selfish):

1. You promised someone else you were going to lend them your notes
2. If you have a quiz, JUST STRAIGHT UP TELL HER YOU NEED IT TO REVIEW BEFORE THE QUIZ. that does not make you appear selfish 😛 believe me!
3. You lost your notes
4. You already let someone else borrow them
5. Come to class right before it starts and sit far away from where you normally sit and/or where she sits
6. If you decide to come to class early, put on headphones, close your eyes, and pretend you are sleeping until class starts
7. If it's a problem with her asking after class...as soon as class ends, walk out of class really quickly. basically avoid her.

You can still act like a nice guy without being one! I know how you feel though, I think I have a nice girl syndrome but I come up with creative ways to not be nice without appearing that way.

you don't let people borrow your notes when you need them yourself, that's not being nice, that's being used.

you offer to walk with them to the nearest copy machine and let them make a copy of them (with their own dimes or quarters), if it's convenient to you. you never let anyone actually leave your presence with your notes... just tell 'em you've been burned too many times to do that.. you take notes because you need them! if that doesn't work for them, then nobody's lost anything.

no, you can't borrow my notes.. but you can have a copy of them.. that's what you do. then you're nice, but not used.. and not losing out because you let yourself be used. no, I will not go make a copy of them and deliver them, either... don't even think about it.

there can be extenuating circumstances.. my daughter broke her foot fall semester and missed a few classes due to getting it tended to and transportation issues while she was on crutches.. I am grateful for the couple nice guys and gals that copied their notes for her those few times.

Sounds like you're whipped and you're not even getting anything in return. By letting the girl "use her charm" to copy your homework, you're putting yourself at risk for flunking the class or expulsion on the grounds of cheating. Then what are you going to do? Blame the girl for "using her charm" to make you flunk?

If you think that you're somehow scoring points with her by being a pushover, I'm afraid you're sadly mistaken. At best she'll continue to take advantage of you. So stop being a pushover. Look her in the eyes and just say "no." It's a remarkably easy thing to do. You should try it sometime.

Dude..you just gotta watch your own back at times. If you have to review your notes, you just plain out say (but sweetly), "I am sorry, I have to review the notes for the quiz. You can have them later though. Just let me know when." Seriously, if you took the notes and she was too lazy to go to class for them, you deserve to use them, not her. However that doesn't mean you ahve to an ass, cause you did offer for her to use them later. However, if she is as lazy as I figure, than she will never get arond to it and will screw herself.

I know how it goes. I won't turn people way for notes, but I will if I need the notes that I took. Usually, I end up trading notes among friends who share their notes with me and I share notes with them. So if she askes for your notes, ask for hers later....grin. Eye for an eye. You scratch my back I scratch yours..thats the way the world turns. Unless she is stupid..than..that sucks for you dood.
