I'm not sure how to put my thoughts into words. I know that some of you are the type of kind, smart guys that get to help girls on their school works and such. After doing this for so long, I'm sick of it. Today I just received the short end of the stick for letting the girl to copy my notes. I sooo want to say no to people in the future, but I just... cannot! I don't want to be an a-hole to deny people's request, yet I don't want to be the nice guy for others to use as a stepping stool. My dignity and value decreases when others think I'm not worthy enough to receive their 'thank yous.' I'm so pissed off right now, I think my scramble egg is done, I need to scoop it off my effing head.

EDIT: At least is my experience with girls like you describe. Most girls like nice guys, but it seems the nice guys only notice the girls that don't notice them. In other words, bad girls like bad guys. Good girls like good guys. Understand?

Tell them that you do your homework in the Nude, I don't think anyone will want to borrow your notes anymore or ask for help :)

dude i was the same way, just say no, you do this becuase you get your self worth for other people, once you stop that then you won;t be "walked" over and you would be the "nice" guy any more

I don't want them to think I'm selfish for saying no. I mean, I have the notes in front of me, she wanted to borrow it, how can I say no in front of people? The thing is I'm not even smart (like that's not obvious... :D ), but they keep coming back for my brain. If I can put my head on eBay, there will be thousands of bids. Argghhghhh

Lay into the occasion person, it'll feel really good. Make sure it's a girl too, one who pesters you about notes or something and tell her to do her own damn work.

Yup. Try saying no at least once. It becomes a lot easier after that.

If I say no to them, how do I escape the thought of them thinking I am selfish? I mean, I cant just go to class the next day and see the same girl who I said no to and pretend nothing happened. I fear the girl would see me as someone I'm not, which is an a-hole, jerk, d!ck. God I guess this is why I stepped on my own poop bucket, I wish I'm born an a-hole.

So what exactly happened that made you so mad?

Letting someone borrow your notes doesn't make you a nice guy or the girl some queen b!tch. From the post you sound less like a "nice guy" and more like some guy who can't communicate properly..............

It's not just this time, but a lot of times. Girls running away with my notes (seriously, it happened to me, I lost my notes because I was nice enough to let them borrow it, and they dropped the class), girls using their charm to copy my homework, and today, the girl borrowed my notes before I had the chance to review them for the quiz, guess what I got on the quiz, a 1 of 5.... but that's not what upsets me, she got another guy who sat in front of her to walk over inthe middle of the lecture to give my notebook back, w/o saying even the simplest 'thank you' Yah... I'm steamed. But I didn't say anything, I kept my mouth shut, until now. <---- That, is my problem. I hate being a nice guy.

I let guys borrow my notes too, but they're always nice enough to say 'thanks bro.' Which is all I ask for. Some girls lack that part of courtesy or some think they're too pretty to be around me so they ignore me once they got what they want.

Just be nice. But not a frigging MUPPET. Don't let people copy the work if they are not your friend. I sure as hell don't.......
