Some people on here are real sickos.

I wonder if America got attacked, and every one was poor, deprived, malnourished, raped of its assets and rescources and had lost freinds and family if they might act more like these so called 'savages' that do these beheadings.

I personally could only ever torture someone if I really had too, namely to save a considerable sum of human lives. Even then it wouldnt be really sick stuff, just what was necessary.
I'd try mind games before hand though, violnce as a last resort.

physical torture i think is pretty pointless though

they did it in the olden days in england to get confessions out of people, and if they didn't confess they just kept going and going till the guy was dead
(so you know there were lots of innocent people that were locked away simply because they couldn't stand the pain) great way to extract the truth:roll:

The question implies that it would be by choice. So I say, watch hostel and imagine if you can see yourself doing that?

Depends if I believe in what I'm doing.

If it's for the greater good? Is it absolutely necessary to torture them to extract information?

If so, I could see myself performing some forms of torture on people.

If not, it ain't gonna happen. I'm no psycho.

the truth is revealed

No. I get woozy when I get a shot at the doctor, or if I cut myself and there's even a tiny bit of blood.

Just my presence tortures people, not all people but most people, eventually you get used to it and my presence becomes a somewhat amusing past time, at least for some..
