I am saddened by the VIA offerings to date

Anyone in general or all???

I know the KT400a should be out early next year, and so will a Dual channel P4 chipset. The KT400a(or what ever they call it) should give nForce2 a run for its money. And same for the SiS655 and intel GB from VIA's dual channel P4 chipset, I think it is called P4X600??

I wish I could find some previews about KT400a boards. I really need to see what they are going to have to offer when compared to nForce2 boards. I hope there are going to be some KT400a boards with dual IDE RAID channels, I have yet to see an nForce2 like that yet.

Saddeded by the VIA offerings, Not at all, I have been playing with the Epox 8K9A2+ KT400 and that seems to be one fine system, Have a XP2400+ running at 166 FSB and Corsair PC3500, Ti4200 video card, But then again I liked the KT266a's to,

Serial ATA is IDE. It's just not parallel IDE.
