I have 3x8GB fitted by ASUS in my laptop but according to CPU-Z they are running in Dual Channel mode, how do I make them run in Triple channel mode?

The way the SODIMMS are installed is

Slot 1 = empty (ASUS did that on purpose to make the last slow easily accessible/upgradeable to the user)
Slot 2 = Hynix 8GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600MHz non-ECC Unbuffered CL11 204-Pin SoDimm 1.28V
Slot 3 = Hynix 8GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600MHz non-ECC Unbuffered CL11 204-Pin SoDimm 1.28V
Slot 4 = Hynix 8GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600MHz non-ECC Unbuffered CL11 204-Pin SoDimm 1.28V

Can someone who has 24 GB RAM in his laptop see in CPU-Z if it says Dual Channel or Triple channel in the Memory tab?

I was under the impression that triple channel was something that arrived and departed with the 1366 chipset... no?

First, you're probably one of <1000 people in the whole world with that much RAM in a notebook.

Second, there's no point in bothering. You can't run in triple-channel mode unless you have three or more RAM channels, which you don't. You have two. Your RAM is running in flex mode dual channel right now, and if you add a 4th stick for 32GB, it will go back to proper dual channel, which could improve performance by a few percent.
