Man oh man oh man. This is going to seem like a bit of a reflection so humor me.

My family started having alot of personal issues starting about 2 years ago.

2005

It started off with me getting a blood clot in my leg, I was basically paralyzed from the waist down for a month. Missed all of my final exams because I was either asleep or in agonizing pain. Broke up with my longterm girlfriend.

In July my grandpa was sent to the ICU, he had an infection in his toe, it went septic and started attacking his heart.

For three months he was in the hospital, his final surgery went fine, things started to look up and boom, out of no where he dies in less than four hours. From as good as could be expected to poof, gone. I wasn't even there to say goodbye. He was the teather that held my fathers side of the family together.

For those of you who haven't read my past threads, my family runs a business with everyone involved, and everyone mutually hates eachother. He was the peacemaker, since his passing we haven't talked to anyone from that side of the family.

In december, other grandfather is diagnosed with prostate cancer, it spreads, through innovative treatment, he survives, though the situation has rattled the family again.

2006

March -- Grandmother, due to the stress of losing her husband, has a brain seizure and suffers from pneumonia after swallowing her own vomit. Is in a coma for a month.

May -- Mom suffers extreme pain in her legs, there is something wrong with her vericose veins. Goes into surgery, can't walk for 3 weeks, her medications are toxic so she loses hearing in her left ear.

I almost flunk out of college because I'm so stressed outta my mind.

September -- Uncle commits suicide, reason unknown.

Man this is bullshit.

Sorry for the troubles and losses in your family :(

You just have to keep looking for the bright side, appreciate the important things in your life, and most importantly, keep headstrong. You'll make it
