I am thinking of getting a server at Rackshack to host HeatWare on and I am in need of someone to keep the server running (install upgrades, patches, fix security, holes, etc...). It will run RH Linux 7.3 and Cpanel 6..
I need someone who is qualified, experienced, reliable, and can supply references.
If you can do it or can recommend someone, please let me know.
And let me know your prices.

Thanks

EDIT: I will probably getting the:
Intel Celeron 1.3 GHz with Cpanel

EDIT #2: To help pay for the server I am planning on offering web hosting and reseller accounts on the server. They come complete with Cpanel/WHM. How many of yall would be interested in hosting plans for as little as $1.5 or $2 per month?

I think you should mention what O/S you are running. Last I knew it was Mac OSX. Did it change?

That may make a difference in who responds.

I'm more of a BSD expert than a Redhat or linux man, but I'll help out where and when I can. Nix is Nix regardless of flavor.

Just shout if you need some help.

*bump*

And a suggestion that this be added to the unemployment thread, if it has not already been done.

:)

Thanks for the bumps...

I also have a question for everyone out there (especially HeatWare users)....

To help pay for the server I am planning on offering web hosting and reseller accounts on the server. They come complete with Cpanel/WHM. How many of yall would be interested in hosting plans for as little as $1.5 or $2 per month?

Thanks!

I will help out. I currently have a server with RedHat 7.3 and Cpanel at rackshack, so I am familiar with it. Let me know if you need me :D

What happened with Mac OSX? Did it not handle the load? I was hoping heatware would be a shining example of how OS X is more than a multimedia OS :brokenheart: BTW are you going to be needing donations again?

I am not 100% sure that I will be moving HeatWare. the MAC runs Heatware just fine. Its just that alot of email we send out (activations, eval notifications, etc) bounce back to us. We get "Non-Delivery Report". We arent sure why that happens, so moving the server could be a possible solution.

And no we do not need donations right now. You guys have done so much for us. If we get a new server, I hope to replace having to accept donations with offering web hosting.

Thanks for all the support!
