I always wanted a leather chair with adjustable height and arms support. I found this in staple.com. It looks good to me, and the price is decent. I am just wondering is there any other way to get the price further down?

at that price range... the only way i think u can get it lower is to look for a coupon (or wait for a coupon)... it'll prolly only get u down $10 at most. i've had an OD coupon for $10 off $40 before. i have a chair similar to this one, but its cloth. leather chairs at this price range feel really like plastic... and i just wasn't feeling the cheapy leather thing.

<< If it is the chair I am thinking of, you better go "test sit" it at the local Staples before buying. >>

But if he does that, then he'll notice the cushion is a POS.

Although this one is slightly different.. the one usually selling for 60 bones is made by Situations. I doubt it's any better or worse.

I bought a leather chair from Office Depot that is regularly priced at about $130 (paid less than half that). Even then, I wasn't impressed by the cushion or the look of the leather.

These cheap chairs should be *avoided* by anyone of solid build.

I will definitely have a "test sit" on it before I buy. My butt can be picky sometimes😀
I am currently sitting on a cheap $15 cloth chair...no adjustable height no arms support...and no bossness-feeling.
I guess the leather would feel cheap at this price range...but then again, I haven't test sit yet....so we will see.

I'm sitting in that chair right now actually (it fluctuates in price..i've seen it from 59-79.). I had another chair before, but thats all worn out. (I have very aggresive butt-cheeks.)

Its not bad...the arms are not adjustable, but the height is. Its fairly wide at the hip area and there is a weird hump in the back. It provides decent support, but its hard to actually sit "in" the chair. It feels more like I'm sitting on top of it and its not all that stable. I think thats the basic flaw with a lot of these cheaper chairs. And also, because of the non adjustable arms, if the desk I'm using doesn't line up, its not very comfortable.

I've tried out the so-called popular chairs, the Aeron, etc. The support is much better, kinda like sitting in a firm net. But I wear out chairs at a tremendous rate so I can't justify the cost.

with chairs you get what you pay for....i spent $120 on mine, and although its still in one peice, the leather is torn in aobut 3 places and cracked in even more.

my next chair would probably be of the aeron variety 🙂

I have that chair. Got it at Staples six months ago. It's very comfortable. For $60 you won't find anything better.

I got one of those for my dad (paid $35 for it)

It's not *exceptional* but it's much better than the computer chair he was using 🙂

Damn, 35 bucks! where the hell you found that deal? LINK ME!!

<< Does it have padded arms? It doesn't look like it in those pics and those plastic ones kill my elbows. >>

No, it doesn't. But at $59..you really can't complain much.
