First season was great, 2nd season felt like rehash, this is super duper rehash.

"oooh here i am doing normal family stuff...BUT I DON'T GET WHAT IT MEANS BECAUSE I'M A VIOLENT SOCIOPATH". OK. We get it already. Shit.

Then they're out of ideas for stuff so they go with 'hey let's make rita get pregnant'. Yeah, real creative guys.

I'm sorry but I am so sick of this show, and hearing about it. Plus every douchebag you run into talks about how it's the greatest show ever. It's like the drama version of family guy. It's tripe and people still stick their tongues into the terminal 6 inches of the show's colon.

If it were the drama version of family guy it would be 30 second pop culture skits randomly assembled into a 'story'.

I never got into it, never really liked it from the beginning. So I really can't flame you for it.

It's kept me interested...which is more than I can say about most TV. I've been in from the first episode however. Same way with Weeds, Californication, and The Tudors which a lot of people don't like either. *shrug*

You're not into the whole Miguel Prado thing, and how that plays out?

I admit this season is not as intriguing to me as the first two were, but still a good story, acting, and character development on all accounts. This is far better than most other shows currently on the air.

Honestly, it feels a little thin for a main story arc of a season. I won't lie, I'm so far into the season I'm going to finish it. It just feels like this 'my first friend' story line is a lot like 'my long lost brother', where he feels like someone gets him and doesn't reject him...but they turn out to be in severe need of being murdered

I agree that there is some repetition by the third season (how could there not be?). However, if that's the theme you are getting from season 3, I think you are missing a big part of the show. That, of course, is Dexter's change from a sociopath that was raised to believe that he couldn't possibly understand what it means to be normal and carry out the activities related to normality. He is no longer limited by the false boundaries that Harry instilled in him and is in fact starting to understand what all these "normal" activities mean.

He's not. Now that Dexter's realized Prado was using him, he's going to get fucked in a spectacular way.

Exactly. THIS is the plot element that drives this season. OP, I just started watching, but I take your point.

I stopped watching 24 and Prison Break and even, for awhile, House, for this very same reason. I'm glad I went back to House, though, if only to have seen Cuddy's dream strip.

Thank-you, oh mighty and beneficent FSM.

Yo momma.

MY momma? Really? huh...imagine that...

Ah wait...you can't imagine, you have no imagination. That reply proves that.
That's what she said.

Yeah, but we all know how much she lies...

She talks to me all the time from the box of ashes in my dammed office closet. Tries to convince me that my dog is lying to me too...
