Monday class was canceled and the teacher sent out an email to the class. So tonight I am sitting here surfing ATOT, and this semi-attractive girl walks in and sits down. This guy sits down behind her, and this is the convo.

Guy "hey did you come to class monday?"
Girl "no I saw the email before I came up here"
Guy "I didn't, and drove up here for nothing"
Girl "oh that sucks"
Guy "yeah, could we exchange numbers and when its canceled you let me know?"
Girl "sure whats your number?"

I was kind of impressed because this guy looks like he has little to no skills with women....

Girl "I'm not, because I had the presence of mind to actually check email"
Guy "let's exchange numbers, so that I can continue to be a lazy dumbass and not check email"

I'm not impressed, and won't be unless he manages to get a date from her.
 
Wow, I can't believe that worked. Unless a girl does that, it just reeks of stupidity. I would hear it kinda like this:

Guy: "LOL I MISSED LAST CLASS CUZ I DON'T CHECK EMAIL LOL"
Girl: "Oh, that sucks for you."
Guy: "YEAH CAN I HAVE YOUR NUMBER CUZ I JUST COLLECT GIRL'S PHONE NUMBERS JUST TO SAY I HAVE THEM"
Girl: Oh, sure! Here's mine!"

This is probably true too. Girls with boyfriends aren't on the defensive - they just think: "Oh, a friend!"

Usually the word "exchange" means both parties recieve something, in this case phone numbers.
