Korean women are the hottest girls on the planet. My suggestion is to meet a really nice single girl. Maybe try to develop a relationship that will continue even after you leave Korea.

I lived there for 1 year, but that was 15 years ago.

I will try to answer any of your question if you have any.

bring lots of shorts and tank tops.

you'll be sweating bullets there with the heat + humidity.
Bring something that'll make your tummy better as well.

You'll have some tummy aches adjusting to the water and such.

We came to the US when i was 5, at the age of 27 i went back to korea for the first time and spent 5 yrs there.

during that time, i completed a masters in Theology, Got married, bought a house (condo actually), had a son, held a job for 3 yrs and finally returned to the US.

I have some experience in korea.

BTW, other than my wife, Thai girls are the hottest in the world, THEN comes korean girls. :)

What part of Korea are you going to?

If you're close to the Northern border you can go check out the very edge of the border of S and N korea. They have a little town and a memorial there that you can check out.

If you are goin to Seoul there shouldn't be any shortage of things to do. There are literally thousands of PC cafes to go to and restaurants, bars, clubs, etc. COEX mall is a huge mall there if you need to go shopping. You should try all the food you can get too. I love the food and it's sooo cheap there [prob the thing I miss most about it]. You can also go to Lotte World which is a sort of amusement park. Seould tower which gives you a breaktaking view of Seoul. It is amazing, words can not express what you see when you go up there. Goes on for miles and miles.

If you're in the southern part of Korea, go to Cheju Island like Aceshigh said. It's prob. the number one tourist spot in all of Korea with tons of honeymooners. Or stop by Pusan which isin't too far from the Southern coast and check out the beach front [Hae Woon Dae]. I think they have the hottest girls in Korea.. in Pusan.

But I can not stress this enough ... eat as much of the food as you can. They have little shops where you can eat Korean BBQ on the side of the street and drink your soju in the summer nights. Very nice.

Oh one thing... when you go to see movies there, it's not general admission like it is stateside, they assign a seat for you when you buy the ticket and have to sit in that seat kinda like a sports event.

Take good walking shoes b/c you will walk a lot in the city. I live in Atlanta and the public transportation in Korea is lightages move advanced than in Atlanta. When I was there we would take buses and subways to anywhere we needed to go. Altough if you get lazy, there are a jillion taxis there who btw might try to rip you off if they sense you're from out of town so be weary.

Take light clothes b/c it's hot as balls and take a light umbrella b/c it will rain A LOT this time of year.

Hope you have fun if you have any more questions PM me ... you lucky bastard.

My grandfather was there about 53 years ago. He said it was a bit cold, and the North Koreans and Chinese weren't very nice. He said his best friend was his M1.

I went there last year? Or was it the year before that? :)

Go check out the DMZ line. It's a tourist attraction oddly enough. :p It's pretty freaky at the same time though, seeing bunkers and soldiers and a gated area really brings the fear to heart. :(

I don't know about the girl in Pusan, but boy does it smell. It's a port, so I suggest you go visit the market. You'll see live seafood to eat that you never knew existed. :p

Seoul is HUGE. But you can take public transportation virtually anywhere. Buses are crowded usually though. Subway is less so. Oh yeah, if theres an old person standing MAKE SURE TO GIVE UP YOUR SEAT. Koreans already aren't too fond of foreigners, so I wouldn't do anything that makes em look further down upon you. Theres different levels of Taxies (sp?), the cheap to the more expensive. The cheap ones smell horribly full of cigarrete smoke and the expensive ones will rape you like none other.

You will be able to read to signs somewhat since half of them have English, and if you can at least read the alphabet the other half is koreanized American words. Haha.

Have fun and pics of ladies! Gotta love the scantily dressed ladies promoting stores outside. :D

I just went there 2 yrs ago and it was fun as hell.

Just ask around, there are a lot of foreigners there.

Yea, like someone mentioned, try Cheju Island. That place is beautiful.

EDIT: Oh yea, don't worry about missing the food here, they have everything from TGIF to Dominoes
