I am glad this session of congress had it's priorities straight!

But then they won't be able to blame democrats for raising taxes in their attack ads.
I generally don't watch a lot of TV...but caught a few ads over the last week. If anyone is actually influenced by these horseshit ads, they're dumb as a rock and shouldn't be allowed to vote.

An excerpt from Linda McMahon's ad here in CT:

'Washington has created a perfect job killing storm in America with higher taxes...'

She is closing in on Dick with this stuff.

The hilarity extends beyond the congressional races to the governers races also. I almost drove off the road this morning here in TX when I heard a new Rick Perry radio ad that parodies the dos equis "most interesting man in the world" comercials. It claimed Perry's democratic opponent Bill White was "the most mysterious liberal in the world" it had me in stitches, it was perfect! The only thing it was lacking was the "Stay thirsty my friends" tag on the end

Shoot your television. Seriously, I'm going to do a dance of joy when these elections are over, then we can take a break for a few months before the 2012 horseshit extravaganza begins.

The ads from both sides and their shadow proxies seem worse than usual this year, really distorted, disingenuous stuff going on.

Perry has also ran Budweiser "real men of genius" style campaign ads in the past that were hilarious.
