I am getting highspeed internet for X-mas.

From the Comcast website it looks like it the model of cable modem will be a Motorola SURFboard® Cable Modem SB5100. I have look at Motorola's website about this product and I cannot find out if this product has a firewall built in or not.

If not can you recommend a good Wireless Router.

I have been looking at:

Linksys WAP54G.
Buffalo Airstation WBR2-G54
NetGear WGR614

It does not have a firewall built into it. You'd be better off getting a router that has a built in firewall as well as a software based firewall.

I think I had that and it didn't have a firewall. (SURFBOARD)

Get the Linksys.

I am already using Zone Alarm for a software firewall on dial-up.

I like to have the firewall built into the router since I only have to bother configuring rules for one device and they are sometimes better. My WRT54G has an SPI firewall which works wonderfully paired with a Toshiba PCX1100U modem.
