My work discount finally kicked in, so now I get basically every channel available. I haven't really watched TV in years so I need some ideas on what to watch.

I don't like shows that you can't miss an episode without being confused.

Give me good ideas and I will reward you with 50 AT Rep points.

House.

Good call. Are there new episodes being aired?

USA network always plays re-runs of House: MD which includes the latest season's episodes.

Season 5 ended in May and Season 6 will begin back in September.

Most scripted TV shows are in the "off-season" and won't be back with brand new epidsodes until Fall/Winter.

Reality shows on the other hand...

Burn Notice on USA.

That's a good one,

Others :

Rescue Me (in it's 5th season, available on Hulu)
House (already mentioned)
Lost (you have to watch this from the beginning)
Kings
Top Gear UK
Prison Break (complete, season 1 and 2 are pretty good, season 3 is meh, season 4 wraps it all up pretty well)
The Riches
Friday Night Lights
30 Rock
Chuck (2 seasons, not bad)

It's not on anymore because CBS needed to make room for another CSI, but you need to buy/rent/download The Unit. Much win. First couple of seasons had some connections between episodes but not too much so if fits that requirement and is very entertaining.
