<< Still going, the true test will be when my husband comes home. He has been smoking while he is out of town. He lights up one around me, and he will be home for the holidays alright, living with his momma >>

Thanks guys. Anybody, my aunt died a horrible death from cancer, as have most of the women in my family. So I know what you are saying. That is why I have to quit now. My kids cannot watch me go through that.

Mday: Like usual, you make no sense. Thanks for staying consistent though! :D

No Valhalla, actually right this second I don't. But lighting one up and shoving it in a certain orifice on your body sounds awfully tempting about now...... :p

What's up GF? Are you at about day 8 without the Sot Weed? Or, have you succumbed to the many blandishments of tobacco?

Informed people want to know.

GirlFriday, take some B Complex (50mg) and Vitamin C (500mg) twice a day with a meal which will naturally lessen your crave for cigarette.

You see, for every cigarette you smoke..you loose 10-20mg of Vitamin C and 5-10mg of B Complex.
Once your body has zero amount of Vitamin C and B Complex..that is when your body becomes so hooked to cigarette.

:)

You can make it your New Year's resolution not to smoke a single cig in 2001.

My mom used to smoke two packs a day. When I had my son she decided to quit, or give it a try anyway.

That was back in 95, it has been more then six years now, and she has not smoked a single cigarette since. So in truth she stopped smoking for my son, because she knew she shouldn?t be smoking around my son when he was with her. She did it going cold turkey.

Keep up the fight, it?s worth it!

Wow, sorry guys. I was off throwing a Christmas party for my family. No, I have not given in, or as eyor suggested, snuck out back for one. :p I am still going strong, and the cravings are much less now.

Denis: It's the implants that keep my backbone straight. ;)

Thanks alot guys, you have all been great support. And Happy Holidays to all my friends here at Anands, I know we have never met in person, but I still know you are a great bunch of people. :) BTW, thanks NeoTechMan, that is some helpful info. I will try the vitamin thing, anything that helps is worth it.
