Do you get enough fiber? Eat lots of fruit & veggies? Might need to try some fiber therapy (like Citrucel or Metamucil.)

Yeah, lots and lots of Metamucil that stuff is so good. In fact, just eat it straight. Mmmm!

Just googled for what metamucil was...

Found a link where they will give a free sample

If you're taking a fiber supplement make certain you drink a ton of water also. Too much fiber without water will make the problem worse, not better.

Anything but bananas, pretty much. Vegetarians have it easy. Most things that plug you up are animal based (meat & cheese.) Go for whole grains (brown rice, whole wheat, etc) and lots of fruit and veggies.

I believe wheat is not good for peoplesuffering from constipation. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Unless you have a wheat allergy, whole wheat (specifically the wheat bran portion) is very good for constipation.

Make sure you get enough water during the day. How much do you drink?

Yoghurt at night..

Anything else i should be taking??

You should go see your physician. You said you are a vegetarian, and this problems is not common among vegetarians. Hopefully, it's not something serious.

Water??? Not a problem.. Drink a lot.. Cant say how much quantity... but i go to pee like 8 times a day 🙂

Switch your fruit from bananas and oranges to something with more fiber, like apples and plums or apricots. Add some oatmeal to your diet.

And yeah, go see a doctor if you don't start feeling better soon!

Drink from water bottles for a couple days and see how many you go through a day on average. If you're constipated, you should probably drink at *least* a half gallon a day.

BTW, anyone knows if Lactulose (which is used as medicine for constipation) is an over the counter drug or does it need a prescription??
