WTF is wrong with these software developers, did they forget that jerks and ass wipes still exist???

1st problem, where the hell is the Hardcore Team Deathmatch Friendly fire limit?
I have been having this problem for a long time and it comes in many scenarios.

1st scenario:
You: Attacking enemy troop with another team member, you accidentally kill a friendly team member by accident

OR

You: While shooting at enemy troop, friendly walks right in front of your gun and dies

Then

Friendly Who Got Shot: Respawns and hunts you down to shoot you. Sometimes even cooperating with enemy players to kill you!

OR

Friendly:Hunts you down for the rest of the game, killing you over and over and over till the match ends.

OR

Friendly: Chooses a random person throughout the game and kills him over and over and over till he bores the hell out of him.

Almost 1 out of 4 games I play involves some A hole taking care of accidental friendly fire like the above examples.

Some guy just killed me 10 times in a row in a game I was just playing 5 minutes ago...
Where is the ban? Where is the kick ....pffft

Second problem, some idiot puts the most annoying sounds on his mic and keeps it on purpose to annoy the hell out of everyone. Players like me who are not using a headset have either the option to mute their speakers and miss out on almost everything in the match or try to withstand the most annoying sound waves a human ear can bare without falling apart for the sake of being able to hear something from the game that matters.

I want to be able to mute individual players, if they want to be annoying, then I want them to listen to themselves.

I love COD4 but these little problems are driving me nuts each day I play.

I don't play on FF servers and usually not with voice chat enabled either. Too easy to abuse.

Sorry, forgot to mention that this is with COD4 on PS3 I have no control on any aspect of the game server selection. I hate that fact so so very much

If you can't deal with that stuff, I guess you'll have to play regular team deathmatch. Friendly fire is part of hardcore, for better or for worse. I don't play CoD4 hardcore games, but I do play another FPS that always has FF on, and I very rarely encounter the issues you're talking about. But that game has the ability to boot players for FF. Combine that with the very minor "punishment" that you get for quitting in the middle of a game, and you have the unintended consequence of players intentionally TKing to get booted out of a game they don't want to play. But that doesn't happen often, and I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen a player retaliate for unintentional friendly fire, and that's over thousands of games.

You can't mute individual players on the PS3? Wow, sucks to be you guys. I couldn't deal with playing online if I didn't mute the morons with mics. Also, I've run into the occasional player on team hardcore that just act like dicks, but again it's easy enough (on the 360) to submit a complaint or review, and the system will stop matching you up with those players. Most of the matches though don't have much intentional killing, just the occasional collateral nade kill or something.

I don't remember COD4 hardcore that well, but in COD:WAW on Xbox 360 at least, the TK'ers are kicked after just a few TK's.

No shit. The PS3 voice chat capabilities sucks balls and like you've just experienced, can be VERY frustrating.

Keep saying that to yourself, you'll make the RROD go away. :D

Though generally, this would be the developer's fault for failing to keep the game up to date because they think PS3 is a smaller market.

Um, you can easily mute individual players from the scoreboard screen.

Yes, but if the asshole with the intentionally annoying sounds is on your team then you are SOL

What are you getting so upset about? "I'm enraged about a video game, ROAR!"

What am I upset about? I am upset about how after a long day, I come home to relax and try to play my favourite games and then having someone ruin my gameplay everyday while that could have been fixed by some simple logic on the developer's side, that is what I am upset about if you haven't caught up with the thread yet

OP heres the core problem, you get worked up over a video game. People like you in online games are a godsend to griefers lol. Take it with a grain of salt, play another game, or play single player.

Oh welcome to online gaming :laugh:

As i recall you can mute anyone from the score menu. Just hit select then go down to the person and mute them.

On the 360 you can mute individual players very easily, both in the lobby and during a match. I don't see or know why it'd be any different on the PS3.

You can mute anyone, what does them being on your team have to do with anything? Are you trying to say you don't WANT to mute them because you think you'll miss something important, or are you just some idiot who came to complain about something that a brain-dead monkey could figure out. I'm seriously betting on the fact that you're just an idiot who can't figure out a simple concept.
