However I do want to try Sushi, maybe this week, and Steak Tartare.
you like it raw, eh?

Depends really.

I'd bet money the Sushi will make me puke, but I've never eaten anything close to it before so I'll try it. I'm sure the actual sushi will be delicous, but the fish will make me die. I'm not a fan of fish.

And at a bonfire this weekend a female and I were talking about traveling the world etc. and she said, if I remember correctly, "The best food I've eaten was Steak Tartare in Italy."

I'm actually a fan of raw / extremely rare. Sooooo, here I sit wanting to try both.

after working in a chinese resturaunt, I figured out the secret to chinese food. Cornstarch to thicken sauces, soysauce/hoisin sauce for flavor, and lots of MSG

Oh yea, and oil.

Oh come on, that's the manliest meal EVAR. I'm like an impovrished Tom Selleck!
LOL

The manliest meal ever is hot cornedbeef hash with a side of homemade baked beans and a beer to wash it down with.

😉

I hope I like it too!

Anyways, the sushi chef and I already made a deal.

He said "You like spice!" I told him yes and he said "ok California Roll!"

I told him I wasn't sure if that's what I wanted and he reassured me that he doesn't care and that he's got this California Roll waiting for me the next time I got in.

I guess I'm eating a "California Roll." *shrug*

What are you having for supper?

Good quality pasta (the soft, frozen kind), Italian sausage (2 kinds) meatballs, Caesar salad and the obligatory Merlot to wash it down.

I've got an hour plus to go before dinner.

Does anyone know what brand of sticky rice Chinese food places use to make their white rice?

You mean just normal white rice? I think we used long grain white rice. We wash it (3-5 times) and then cook it for I think ~35 minutes (simmering). Some of the rice burns to the pot, but it is cooked really well and tastes good. Just a bitch to clean up.
