I am dying for a Garbage Plate.

SunnyD

Belgian Waffler
I lived in Rochester for 25 years and never had one - I so want one at this very moment in time.

hahahahaha i know exactly what ya mean mmmm mmmmmm would be tasty

never lived there but one of my best friends use to drive up there and I'd go along

That actually seems like it would be yummy.

If you want the breakfast version, go to "Omega Pancake and Omlette House" in south myrtle beach and get the "Mish Mash"... oh man that stuff rocks.

GARBAGE PLATES!!!! I GO TO RIT!

(Rochester Institute of Technology)

my friends get garbage plates all the time.
I personally haven't tried it yet, cuz it looks like a heart attack on a plate, but I hear they're good

My friends rave about them.... Oddly, they only seem to go get them while drunk or when they have a really bad hangover.

Scary thing is I actually know what you are talking about. Been there done that.

I'm can litterally walk down the street to get one of the better ones in the city (marks texas hots on Monroe)

I only get them like once every few weeks. They're fantastic, but they can't be good for you.
I usually hit up mister V's on the weekends.

I've never had one and they don't appeal much to me. I've seen lots of places in the Rochester area that mimics the Tahou's original.

I bought one two or three times a week this summer when I worked the late shift a few minutes away from Tahous on Lyle. Somehow, I also managed to lose 15 pounds this summer. But yeah, I'll definately grab one when I'm home over break.

That seriously sounds like some really trashy food from some greasy spoon diner. Sounds no better than going to White Castle at 4:00AM after partying all night and ordering a sack of 32 Belly Bombers and eating them all. 😛

Garbage Plate sounds like an easy way for them to make money selling $3 worth of food for whatever you pay for it. Blech.

I'm going to college in brockport (about 30 mins from Rochester) and hear about these constantly. haven't had one yet (a real one anyway; the dining hall here offered them for dinner once, but it was just hash browns and greasy ground beef and quite disgusting)
