"I Am Chris Farley" trailer released

ill be interested in watching it for sure. i am a fan of his.

i can't feel sorry for someone like that though. he had it all but still didn't care enough to take care of his body and health and threw his life down the drain.

I guess I feel more sorry for us than him.
That being said, addiction is a bitch and not the easiest thing to overcome.

All of this.

I liked Farley, but I never understood why people adored him and hated others (sandler or ferrell for instance). His shtick was always the same. I put him in the same category as many of that era.

Um, really? I thought he was always trying to be a John Belushi IMO. Nowhere near the talent people gave him. But, whatever floats your boat.

See I never really got the Belushi love, I mean K-9 was fun and all, but not that great of an overall movie.

I never got the Belushi love either. He was good in "Blues Brothers" and while his performance in "Animal House" is fondly remembered people forget that he was not in the movie all that much.

I'll admit I don't know much about his standup but I don't remember his roles in SNL being anything great. His most famous role is the "Samurai Delicatessen" and the bit is kind of weak imo, I guess kids found it pretty funny back in the day....

1941. Plus, his skits on SNL were loads better than farley. Also, Joe Cocker. cmon, farley is the walmart/ghetto jim belushi!

Yeah, I'm actually with you on all of that. Must be a thing of the time or whatever.

Only thing he did that really made me laugh was his Chippendales tryout skit with the Swayze.

That shit was funny.

especially if you have absolutely no willpower, which he obviously didn't considering how fat he was.

Do you understand that not everyone's body process food the same and he might have been genetically pre-disposed to carrying weight?, I've known people who could eat day and night and never gain an ounce. Do any of us understand going from an unknown to adorned and always expecting to be acting like one of your characters you play?. despite his success Chris died a very lonely man..

Chris Farley was an original talented nut in my book. I rank him up there with Jim Carrey. In fact, I would watch SNL just for Chris Farley. He made that show, those were the good times.
