Poo in a box could get you into trouble if FedEx opens it. Bio-hazzard, harmful substance etc...
How about some wood and matches and ask them to kindly DIAF?

I would try to give a false return address if possible.

If you notify ebay and admit that you accepted the deal outside of the auction, you may be suspended, also. As mentioned above, you violated the TOS.

Best bet--ship them some mosquitoes with West Nile (I'm kidding) and call it a day.

Actually, the most gruesome thing you could do -- but it would be totally f---ed up because it's cruelty to animals, so don't do it -- would be a box full of live mice.

I'm sure they'd be dead in the shipping process, so ship some dead mice!

My only worry is, this person has my full name. A quick Google search will give him my address and phone number. I don't want this coming back to get me somehow...

hey, whats the person going to do, Spend a thousand dollars travelling from africa to beat you up! If ebay cannot help you with this, that also means that ebay cannot help the other guy with this.
You are in the clear.

Just use this opportunity to take revenge for all those people in the world who have been scammed on ebay. 🙂 hrhr Keep us posted

Think about what live mice would do if you put them in a close environment like that...

I'd definitely ship them some bricks or rocks or something.

Or the P-P-Powerbook thing is good too. Haven't seen that one for a long time.
