I just recently sign up again. For 2 weeks they were great, after 3 weeks they're already slowing down my shipments, because I'm sending the movies back the next day.

Yup netflix is awsome + I have a 300 GB hard dive so I just image my 3 DvDs(takes about an hour) send them back and watch the images are my choosing while I get another 3 DvDs.


I do delete the iso once finished however.

xrentdvd is better....at least that's what I've heard

I rented 136 movies from Hollywood Video in one month. That averages 4.5 DVDs a day. (They have there MVP (Movie Value Pass) 3 out at a time deal) that means I went multiple times a day. That was one crazy summer.

if you didn't cost them so much in shipping maybe you'd get better service. burn & return isn't one of netflix's service plans.

How often do they expect you to keep stuff? Even watching stuff, with the exception of TV shows, it wouldn't surprise me to be sending many back the next day. Maybe on a 2 disk at a time plan send one back the next day and the second the day after that.

I just signed up with Zip.ca (canadian version of netflix). My free 2 week trial just ended, but I'm gonna keep with it for a few months and see how it goes.

My queue has about 200+ DVD's as well, though a lot of them aren't movies, but seasons of TV shows

So Netflix does slow down shipments depending on how fast you return them?

I know Blockbuster does it, since I use them but I've heard it Netflix does too.

I haven't noticed this w/ Blockbuster, but then I keep them usually for several days.
