So, last night I had a dream that my computer that broke a year ago(wouldn't post, turned off after a few seconds of power button being pressed) was in perfect running order.

On a whim I hooked it up and it booted right up. I am a wizard and will grant wishes for three Our Fathers and seven Hail Marys.

So, you had a computer that broke a year ago, and you couldn't fix it? You had a computer that broke a year ago and you didn't salvage and test parts from it to reuse and/or sell? You had a computer that broke a year ago and you didn't pull the hard drive so that you could recover the data into another computer?

And, you post about it in a tech forum??

In the interest of fair play and honesty, he posted about it on a tech forum that can't stay up for eight consecutive days. The bar ain't all that high.

It's socket 939, DDR 1, there was no real reason to salvage the parts.
