Alright. There is this computer my family has. I neglect it. One day, it starts making a funny noise. I decide not to care. My mom urgently tells me the computer won't boot. I look at it. The 40mm fan (w/e size is stock AMD) is unable to rotate (dead motor). This is on a 1.2 tbird. So, I am asked to fix it. First, i use masking tape to hold an 80mm fan on it. w00p. Smart idea... falls off, compuer almost dies overnight. The next day, i use ducttape. That held for a week, then the tape let go. Comptuer almost died. So today, I use a drill and drill holes in the HS ( alunimum ) and mount the fan with zipties. Now it has been on for 2 days, and no problems.
