I...am...a...NERD!

Just got my Talking Heads Popular Favorites Two-Disc set, Sand in the Vaseline in the mail. Yeah, I'm proud to admit that I listen to nerd rock, and LIKE IT! I also got DMB: Under the Table and Dreaming, but that's more mainstream. 😛

and don't forget the very popular nerd band, bare naked ladies🙂

i'm not a talking heads fan, but i love the others mentioned🙂

I've always found They Might Be Giants and Barenaked Ladies to be awesome bands. Definitely a unique taste in music, though...🙂 It's really just a nice alternative to listening to Tool, NIN, Disturbed, etc etc etc

Deeko: I said I was PROUD of it, I'm not desperate.

ltk007: You're not a nerd, but definitly a loser, and that's close enough to a nerd to get you to touch GF. 🙂

The next one who pokes me is going to have some broken fingers.... 😉

And AMD speaks from experience. I whacked him once with my purse and the paper cuts did not heal for a week. 😛

Nerd Music? I've never heard of such a thing...And the Bare Naked Ladies is an example of it? Well then...I guess I listen to nerd music. Does that make me a nerd? 😛

[nasal voice] Hey, wowzers, guys, a girl! Let's touch her before she runs away![/nasal voice]

LOL @ AMD Junkie 😀

/me don't listen to nerd music.

according to the definition of NERD by my linguistics class, i am not a nerd.

i have never studied a day in my life

Weezer rocked. They put out a third (or maybe earlier?) cd under a different name, forget what they called themselves... it was gooood. I actually didn't know they broke up (Sniff!)

How about RUSH, their lyrics have way too much though in them to be anything other than "nerd rock". Very strange, I like TMBG and the Talking Heads a lot, and I was just telling my little sis how Barenaked Ladies were one of the only new groups I actually liked. The Moody Blues may be there too, but they tend to be a bit more esoteric.
