in my comparitive government class, the teacher was talking about Marxism (were on Russia right now) and he made a comparison to the part in TNG: First Contact where Picard is talking to the one girl (who's friend/dad? invented the human warp drive), and hes talking about how theres no money in his time. which is the marxist ideal society. and i said "I remember that!" and people laughed, because i was the only one brave enough to admit it 😀. it was good times.

replace "brave enough to admit it" with "on this earth that ever saw it" and bob's your uncle.

i like my version better.

As far as I remember, money are still present in marxist society. In a communist society, however, which is the next evolutionary step for marxism, money are obsolete.
