Ever since i've had my own computers, i've always only bothered with onboard sound.

I've always wanted to get a soundcard, but it just never got to the top of the list of upgrades to buy.

I even bought some 5.1 speakers that i hooked up to my onboard sound.

Considering that i am listening to music almost every minute i am on the PC, & play games that use EAX, damn i was dumb to not have gotten it sooner.

Anyway, i finally got the Audigy 2 ZS from a Boxing week deal, & i'm just happily listening to some damn good sounding music now 😀

Certainly worth the money!
 
Yeah i used to have Soundstorm on my Athlon XP system, which wasn't too bad, but compared to the onbaord audio on my current K8V SE Deluxe, this is a huge improvement 🙂

I also added a third WD 250 GB to the HDD collection.

1.2 teras total now 😀


Damn i'm such a geek, haha.

The next upgrade is the XGA projector i've got my eye on.

I'm gonna be playing UT2k4 & watching movies on a wall-sized screen as soon as i can afford it 😀
